RESOURCES

Credit Recovery

Have credits to make up? Riverside Academy in Cambridge and the Mora ALC offer summer school and night school options. Check the links or see Mrs. Kuhnke for details.

If you or someone you know is suicidal, go to this website to get help.

The TRIO Upward Bound program at the Cambridge Campus and Coon Rapids Campus offers area high school students opportunities to develop motivation and skills necessary to complete high school and enroll in post-secondary education following high school graduation. This is a free service provided by a federal grant.

Canvas Health’s mobile crisis response team responds to mental health crises or emergencies with face-to-face assessment, intervention and stabilization services at home, school or in the community. Emergencies can be a behavioral, emotional or psychiatric situation needing a timely intervention to reduce the possibility of physical harm. Mobile crisis response staff will also provide necessary safety planning and short-term therapeutic services to assist in recovery from a crisis.

Every texter is connected with a Crisis Counselor, a real-life human being trained to bring texters from a hot moment to a cool calm through active listening and collaborative problem solving. All of Crisis Text Line's Crisis Counselors are volunteers, donating their time to helping people in crisis.

HOW CAN I HELP?

PERSONAL + SOCIAL

My office is a safe place for students to come talk about anything and everything that may be bothering them in their personal and social lives. My goal is to make sure everyone feels comfortable and supported when they come see me.

ACADEMIC

Students are welcome to come visit with me about any and all academic concerns, whether they simply need a schedule change, or they're having a hard time with time management or organizational skills.

COLLEGE + CAREER

Thinking about the future can be scary, but I'm here to tell you it doesn't have to be! I'm here to answer questions about colleges, college classes, what to take in high school to prepare you for a specific major or career path and everything in between!
